Madrid-Tampere Express

Madrid-Tampere Express (MTE) is a mobile journalism project of two universities. The participants are University of Tampere (Finland) and Rey Juan Carlos University (Madrid, Spain).

In MTE the whole journalistic work process – the assignment, writing the article, photographing and sending the material – is done with an advanced camera phone.

New social working manners are examined in the project. A mobile co-creation service platform prototype will be exploited in the project. The service platform prototype is developed and provided by Nokia Research Center.

Tampere Art Museum - Moomins & Aliens

The modern art exhibitions in Tampere Art Museum are yummy. Right now the museum holds the most famous work of H.R. Giger - including the Alien, the creature that corroted it's way to peoples minds in a movie with the same title. For some, the museum's permanent Moominvalley collection can be as shocking as the aliens.
